Thanks, Kim! Yeah let’s hope the bottom one is not too accurate prediction on how this goes

Oh yes and I probably need someone who can code Stata/R packages! For already earlier started project that is linked with this one

Right, AE is actually (A*C)+E. That joint (A*C) part appears to be consistent, at least to the extent E is

Well yes, we probably should not do that anymore.,AE models are fine, though

I am not sure how that could, by design…?

But I am hoping we finally get submitted the paper suggesting that C component in ACE models is nearly random — by design — and should probably not be reported at all, definitely not trusted in any comparisons

Se onkin tunnettu vaihtoehtoisen totuuden media

Onneksi tuohon tuskin tarvitsee mennä - evidenssi viittaa siihen, että elinajanodote tuskin tulee nousemaan merkittävästi yli 95 v ilman merkittäviä lääketieteellisiä läpimurtoja!

Mä tulkitsen näiden yhteyden niin, että eläkeikää pitäis tuossa tapauksessa nostaa nykyistäkin enemmän, ellei tekoälyn tekemää työtä alettaisi verottamaan

Might be that, too!

The issue is nowhere near as bad as in econ. Our recruits are mostly interdisciplinary. Candidates with econ backgroud rarely make it, simply because they have so few papers to use for evaluation. And for econ only recruits, the reputation of the supervisor has more value than in any other field

The system may already be self-correcting. Recently, many econ tenures in Finland have gone to health economics. My interpretation to this is that they are more likely to follow the pub tradition of health sciences (at least partially) and simply have a higher n of published, cited papers
