I’ll never get sick of fall in Washington

Hiking around the crater rim was my favorite part, although some sections were a little scary with strong wind and no walls! The geology nerd in me loved seeing so many different volcanic rocks.

Long-awaited dream of mine, we stayed in a mountain hut on the 7th station and woke up a little after midnight to climb to the summit. The UW MechE beanie had to make an appearance ofc!

Climbed Mt. Fuji this week—breathtaking experience. Check out this sunrise from 3776 m!

Caught up with my Nakatani Foundation mentor and former labmates in Osaka last week, ありがとうございます for making time for me!

Won some tickets to the Storm/Wings game Tuesday from Rough and Tumble (awesome women’s sports bar in Seattle). Sad the Storm didn’t win, but had a great time. Next up on the bucket list: PWHL Seattle!

I’ve been selected for the ISCRM Fellows Program @uwiscrm.bsky.social! This fellowship will support me in launching some exciting research and community engagement projects this year, starting with my research proposal presentation at the ISCRM Fellows Mini Symposium on July 17th. More to come!
