Trying again to understand how Bluesky works with reposts. If one of my friends reposts something and I comment, that comment goes under the *original* post, right — usually with thousands of others? And my friend likely won’t even see it unless I tag them?

How do I make Bluesky a conversation space with people I want to engage with? Say a friend reposts an interesting post from a thought leader. I’d like to comment but there are thousands of comments. Is there a way to comment so my friend and their friends see it? Not just in there with the 1000’s?

Keep Bluesky free of mis/disinformation. I caught a suspect account (includes Kamalla with 2 Ls) claiming Ramaswamy plans cuts to a particular area. I easily found a reputable news source explicitly reporting otherwise.
He’s horrible but spreading false claims is not helpful.
(Or is CBS suspect?)
