Here for Latine book recs! I just finished Solito by Javier Zamora, such beautiful writing and a story that is so important in light of the current administration’s anti-immigrant policies.

Racial humor isn’t inherently bad or wrong. It’s all in the delivery, and who’s being made fun of, and in this sketch every race/ethnicity is made fun of for having weird or dysfunctional relationships with their sons. Also there’s so much love in Marcello’s character. This sketch is solid!

Strategy as old as time, divide and conquer. We really need to band together and take the billionaires down! They have extracted too much from this Earth.
