There’s rumors out there that ICE is contracting with bounty hunter agencies and deputizing their employees. Something like 1000 to 1500 a head. Not confirmed but maybe if local PD starts arresting these guys we’ll uncover if they actually are ICE or someone else

Our Constitution is clear: Only Congress has the power to declare war.
Yet, administrations too often bypass this fundamental check, plunging us into conflicts that cost countless lives, drain our resources, and destabilize entire regions.

The president must send the Marines back to their barracks, and Congress must reform posse comitatus laws so that no president tries to deploy the military in this manner again.

Would probably be a good idea if California @agrobbonta.oag.ca.gov did a quick video statement describing the legality/illegality of what is happening and the legal basis for the position the Gov. intends to take. Better than letting confusion build and folks hashing it out on social media.

Today in Minneapolis, a militarized task force raided the beloved Lake Street taqueria, Las Cuatro Milpas—and the community was not having it.
Agents from ICE, the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS and HHS rolled up looking like they were ready for war.

Due to staffing shortages, the National Weather Service in Jackson no longer has overnight staff. But NWS and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear say the office was staffed Friday night and early Saturday.

Two people were killed, including 5-year-old Peyton Brielle Roberts and 19-year-old Jotavis Roshon Leverette, in a shooting on Saturday in Americus, GA. Peyton was struck by a stray bullet while playing with other kids in her neighborhood’s courtyard. Another person was wounded in the shooting.
