Starmer thinks it's a game of scissors rock paper but Trump's just going to thump anyone in front of him. You can't deal with a thug. You have to block all avenues and then sever relations, then resist and if necessary fight.

Problem in a nutshell, not just in this respect but any. "Money is money and people will jump" ...

They've no choice because their situation was made for that purpose. No different to shouting dance at someone and firing bullets round their feet.

Guillotines and pitchforks is where we're at.
“I am sure PIs, bounty hunters, process servers, and anyone with access to commercial databases can apply and will,” Igor Ostrovskiy, an experienced private investigator told 404 Media. “Money is money and people will jump at the opportunity to embed their business as a government contractor.”

the "victim", I've read elsewhere, was Virginia Giuffre.

Shame he's not around any more to corroborate his emails, so frustrating he isn't here to speak ...
NEW: Jeffrey Epstein said Trump spent hours with an alleged victim, according to newly-released emails from 2011:

"I want you to realize that that dog that hasn't barked is Trump. [Victim] spent hours at my house with him."

When reality hits, it'll be the first time in a decade ordinary Brits won't be able to avoid knowing that Brexit has broken them and their country ... they've managed so far, but it never could be sustained.

Thank you @gylesnamopaleen.bsky.social

The mansion house speech last week was really more for financial markets than UKvoters. Reeves was waving a big sign saying "I won't do a Truss!".

Quick 🧵on why tax rises means the majority of brits can't say "Brexit hasn't really affected me" anymore.

TL;DR: There's no Sunlit uplands Shocker!

Inequality was always going to lead to disruption, and then repression, and then more disruption ...

we can't eat money, none of us can, but we can eat the rich, if we have to. It's up to them whether they make us.
Extraordinary scenes at #COP30 as Indigenous protesters demand access.

"We can’t eat money," said Nato, an Indigenous leader from the Tupinamba community… “We want our lands free from agribusiness, oil exploration, illegal miners and illegal loggers."

Spain-s Partido Popular (conservatives) say when we get back into govt we'll undo the whole lot of the socialists' energy policies.

They're not endearing themselves to voters generally so hopefully they won't regain power but these people mystify me. What do they think is coming? Do they think?
La verdad que me alivia mucho escuchar que va a acabar con la 'política ideológica energética del PSOE' mientras está delante de un cartel con todas las energéticas y petroleras, xd.

Never forget que este señor es el ideario del impuesto al Sol.

Seen it too many places to attribute now ...

and consider Truss, Johnson, the Mail, Farage, the Telegraph, Trump ... all proven brazen liars, all calling for truth, and so you know it's the last thing they really really want ...

Was any of last nights briefing from Number 10 done with the public in mind? Hard to think of a more perfect example of why so many people are now thinking, whatever the risks we may as well roll the dice on Reform/the Greens/someone else because it’s perma chaos as it is.

So just a year to the usual fracas, talk of sackings, traitors, budget tax raise revolts, clearing out.

I don't think the answer is PR any more. FPTP has devastating effects but the problem for me now is Party Politics. The Parties have to go.

Whatever system replaces a Party one I don't know.

Blood's scented now, and the hounds won't stop. Not the BBC's blood, though the present target, but our country, culture, values, the scraps left of our decency and respect for each other, our concern for others ...

We are not Americans, and we need to fight those who are trying to make us so.

I guess the fallen don't count, Don ... you'd know them as "losers", and I don't remember the US "winning the war". The winners were what we know as "the Allies", including the US with many many others who saw both entire wars out, not just the ends.

Sick fecking bastard.
On Remembrance Day, time is taken to remember the sacrifice too many had to make. This is what the obese dementia ridden rapist in the Whitehouse chose to write.
