I just can't even. I mean, I seriously have a lot of respect for the White House History Quarterly, but the irony hits hard. The Historical Association apparently has *nothing to say* about the destruction of the East Wing (some of the comments on its Facebook page are. . . choice).

I am often told that I work too late and that I should get a car. Well. . . this is what I saw when I was walking home last night. Location = bridge over the Lehigh River; in the distance (first photo) you see the old Bethlehem Steel furnaces, decorated with purple lights. Stunning aurora borealis.

@chuckwendig.bsky.social Hi Chuck! Delighted when I spotted Black River Orchard in the library of an ocean liner, as we cruised at 25 knots over the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. (sorry for the shininess in the image). It was an impressively large, well-stocked library, too. Your book is AFLOAT ON THE SEAS
