I like Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen for a transparent sunscreen. Sorry- I do realize it's annoying to use different products. I use their Glow Screen on my face, and their Play sunscreen or the Unseen Sunscreen on my neck.

Dawn dish soap works on a lot of oily stains. Can you avoid using tinted moisturizer on your neck so it won’t get on the shirts? Rubbing alcohol or vodka can be helpful for stubborn stains, and acetone (in some nail polish removers) is an excellent solvent but it will damage plastics/wood finishes.

People memorizing random facts. Like movies an actor was in or the year an album came out. There was no easy way to look it up, like IMDB. You went to the library, or just asked your friend Kendra who always knew.

My best friend’s daughter (born in 1997) was baffled that we had printed out a bunch of terrible photos. We explained the photos were taken with film, and you had no idea what your picture looked like for days or weeks after you took it. And you had to get double prints to share them with friends🤯

My kid’s mind was blown that we had NO actual computers in the house when I was a kid, until I was in high school. Wait till he finds out the internet wasn’t widely available until 1995! And when the internet started it was strange and glorious websites showcasing people’s weird hobbies at first.

The damage will be far worse than just a 4-yr gap. Both I and the individual who has managed this site for most of the past 50 yrs are retiring within the next 2 years. With this closure, we will not be able to plan a transition.

I have thought the same thing so many times. Radicalizing scientists is a very bad idea.
