Agree with you Abi that there are some obvious fixes that should be fixed before spending more resource on reviews that often fail to acknowledge what's obvious to those of us with lived experience! It would be already a step forward if you were listened to.
I'm sorry but this makes my blood boil. Why another review?? Just fix specialty training numbers and competition ratios, fix the lack of parking, hot food at night, and rest spaces, don't start rotations on a run of nights..oh and value resident doctors like part of the team. What else did I miss?
🚨BREAKING: Chief Medical Officer Sir Chris Whitty and NHS England medical director Sir Steve Powis are to lead a review of postgraduate medical training after concerns raised by resident (the old junior) doctors. A report is due in summer.

Anyone else struggle to write their profile for Bluesky? Probably a consequence of growing up before online dating. I feel like I'm being challenged to justify my existence whilst demonstrating a GSOH. Or Santa won't send me any followers

Awful but predictable to hear this. Mind you in Glasgow you would by now have broken ribs from the unnecessary CPR inflicted on you, and a pocket full of mars bars
Within 20 mins of arriving in London I fell down the stairs of the tube (no injuries, just my pride) and people were honestly stepping over me, not a single offer of help or checking in. Take me back up north!
