I love that, such an interesting thought!! I was looking up how to build/program my own thermal print camera, and that would be a really cool modification!

Ok your comment threw me down the rabbit hole of wanting to build my own thermal camera with raspberry pi + do some weird coding mods with it, thank you for that 😅

Oh I didn’t realize there was a name for it!! I didn’t even think about the parallels with audio stuff, it’s absolutely similar!

Same! I notice when the battery starts running low, it gets streaky and the printer starts squishing the picture together, some really fun weird stuff can come out of it!
