What about General Woundwort from Watership Down?
Still frame of a rabbit with blood on it's face and foaming at the mouth. The rabbit is General Woundwort, the main antagonist in Richard Adams book Watership Down. The still is from near the end of the 1978 animated film adaptation, depicting General Woundwort as he chooses to face and attack a large, vicious dog. His fate after that is unknown, but he likely did not survive the encounter.
