Going to a brilliant Friendsgiving tonight— it’s mashed potatoes themed. As in, the hosts are making a lot of mashed potatoes and we’re all bringing things to go on mashed potatoes. I’m bringing beef bourguignon

Just got back from watching Anora at the theater. I adored the film. The dialogue, the acting, the exploration of morality and humanity, the FUN. How does Sean Baker seem to make movies that are so raunchy yet so wholesome?
