True. I guess my concern is the underlying assumption that local communities will always have the political leadership they need in order to understand/commit to/deliver what it is they need & will benefit from. In, say, Clacton - just as an entirely random example, obvs.

Interesting stuff. Love the thinking about reshaping job centres. Q: how to make sure communities not so well served by their local politicians don’t get left behind? If residents of GM are supported by Live Well centres but residents of Chesterfield, say, still have to go to a Job Centre?

Can I join you? Cheese (or to be more precise, lots and lots of cheeses) on one counter, and another counter stacked high with top quality charcuterie. A few carefully curated accessories to add to the ambience (& the profit margin.) I’ve still got the business plan in a note book somewhere.

Do I need to introduce you to @dannno.bsky.social, who has sent me a fascinating email (which I’m still digesting Dan!) inc a link to a really helpful blog about the different lenses on AI that civil society leaders can look at the whole topic through? Though I suspect you’re ahead of me on this!

This is so completely the content I’m here for on a Sunday morning. Although my inner pun completist really wishes they’d stuck an ‘e’ at the end of Ho.

Thank you! And how is it best used after it’s been frozen? Does it go mushy when it defrosts?

🤣 Roast squash. Sautéed squash. Squash soup. Squash grated into cakes. Not yet tried freezing squash …

I see your radishes and raise you summer squash! (Far too many to do anything with, ‘cos, y’know, squash 🤷🏻‍♀️)

I actually cannot remember how I navigated around the country to unknown locations without satnav. Vague memories of sitting pouring over an AA road map (which had to be replaced every year) and scribbled directions on a scrap of paper taped to the dashboard. And arguments. Lots of arguments.

I’m tremendously fallible so pls do prod me if I’ve missed you/ you’d like to be on there

And if I’ve added you & you’d like to be removed, pls do say (& sorry! 😬)

Well, it’s still nicely quiet round here (but getting busier on a daily basis 😉). Have a look at my list of followees (you’ll see some familiar faces there), and also @gemabbott.bsky.social has been doing sterling work on putting together a starter pack of charity folk …
