A snowy scene from the back of our house today. The garden criss crossed with bird and animal footprints. Not certain what they all are but between them they’ve polished off the remains of a Christmas pudding and a large quantity of nuts

Enjoyable circumnavigation of Ennerdale Water today, the most remote of the Lakeland lakes. One scramble at the beginning of the walk but otherwise pleasant going 😊

Well today we walked up to Force Crag mine above Braithwaite. Lead, zinc and silver were mined here until the 1990s
