I’m left thinking it’s yet another example of this misconception:
What you grew up with is “normal,” what you believe is “common sense,” you’re just trying to be “neutral.” It’s other people expressing different beliefs that are political. And they should stop, so you and your views are the default.

This is the sadest of news. She was brilliant at making things happen and so resolute and kind in doing that. An inspiration.

I want to believe that senior managers don't understand the loss and harm happening. The alternative is that they don't care. You have been mighty, and you will continue to be mighty. As for the institution, I am less sure.

I would love to be planning next year's teaching with you. I am so sorry that you have left in the redundancy programme. Of course, I am not sure if I will have a job there either by the summer. There are plenty of emotions right there!
