Books take me to other places, worlds and timelines. I write poetry and create things, landscaping to stitching, baking to blankets. Happiest in Nature, I'm a thinker who appreciates practicality. Happily married, we've cats, dogs, chickens and family :D
Fanbloodytastic!

The back of his neck and head was about the only tell-tale for me, but unless I'd been told it was C.F I NEVER would have guessed it in a million years! More than the prosthetics, the entire persona... incredible!

props to Mr. Hollywood... it was yummy and the base turned out to be just right; it looked a little thicker right at the edges where I'd not pressed it totally flat.

I was seriously torn at the age of 9 as to whether I wanted to be a nun or a stripper... clearly, I didn't really understand the job of a stripper. The Headmistress was NOT amused. 😇

Oh I had a good old Saint Patrick's for my pre-teen years, with not 1 but 2 churches in the grounds, nuns as teachers, prayers in assembly every day and Benediction twice a week, confession on Saturdays and taking Holy Communion on Sundays. Old priest=Old Testament, young one=love Jesus has for Man.

I'm not anti anyone's religion so long as it doesn't harm others and I do believe it's fine for people to take comfort where they may. Don't force it upon me and I won't ridicule your beliefs. The basic messages of kindness&decency to others runs through most religions.

Catholicism never quite lets you go... it's the indoctrination at such an early age. I don't believe yet still feel the impulse to genuflect before entering a pew. Not that I do that often. Still enjoy a good nativity play but take Catholicism for the cultural appropriation it is.

It is, it does, & yet they voted a 34-count felon, adjudicated sexual offender (rapist in most states) with multiple bankruptcies, closed university, fraudulent grift and conman who did all he could to overturn the 2020 election by spreading lies and building hate back into the White House—insanity!

the perfect blend of 'omg so cute', fluff, and murderous intent!

absolutely exquisite... the grains of the wood perfectly replicating movement of the water and otters are one of my favourite wild creatures

I watched this the other day with my husband... yes, not shouty, not crass, almost genteel and addressing issues some older people and their families don't like to talk about but are part of the whole cycle of life thing.
