An incredibly helpful short clip about food labelling in Canada - how to identify Canadian content and Canadian labour vis-a-vis the food you buy in a grocery store.
Only 6 minutes long and clearly sub-titled

IMPORTANT: If you live in the United States or Canada, you’ve probably heard Trump‘s constant claim that the United States is “subsidizing” Canada. It’s wrong of course, but here’s the best explanation I’ve seen about how & why it’s wrong. PLEASE WATCH & SHARE IT A LOT. Kudos to Andrew Chang & CBC.

The stock market has tumbled today. Why? Because the jobs report was strong, with over 250,000 jobs added. (So investors are worried that interest rates will remain high.)

It illustrates that the interests of investors and working people are often very different.

No one wants to live this way. Especially not in Ontario during frigid winter nights. Ford blames the people suffering while he spends our money on secret spa deals to enrich his pals. He escapes to his mansion in Muskoka or vaca in Florida while they freeze to death. #onpoli
