If Dem leadership thinks it's best to play for time, they better rethink that strategy. Time is not on our side. Given the damage trump's done so far, 18 months is a long time. The threat of election defeat means that Congressional Republicans will be incented to support the suspension of elections.

Am I going insane? Is it possible that after millions of angry Americans -- many, many thousands in NYC -- march against trump/musk, that @nytimes.com has no story "above the fold" on its web edition this morning? Just a tiny headline in the Analysis section.
