With all this renaming going on, let’s rename other things: the Trump Dump, the Trump Port-a-Potty, the Trump Crematorium.

Any other ideas?

The AP is calling out trump’s comments on the murder of Rob and Michele Reiner in very strong terms and also referenced him later doubling down on his comments. Good for them. Let’s see how many outlets pick up that report.

The 442nd Regiment was the most highly decorated unit in Europe during WWII, made up mostly of second generation Japanese Americans, many of whom had family in the interment camps during the war. When they came back, they were subjected to anti Asian hatred. Assimilation is tough when you’re hated.

Our Interior Decorator-in-Chief.

Miller and Vought have assigned trump the important tasks while they handle the day to day, mundane activity of dismantling US democracy.

The torch in Lady Liberty’s hand was a beacon of hope to the world. It wasn’t just about immigration; she represented a movement away from repressive regimes.

In response to our No Kings Rally, I have acquaintances who say the U. S. doesn’t have a king. I offer the evidence of his own words and actions. Presidents are presidents for all our citizens and actually work for us. Kings have their subjects and djt punishes any subjects not loyal to him.

Is this where we are going?

We don’t need laws or trials or courts. We are vigilantes taking justice into our own hands. If innocent people are killed, that’s the price they have to pay for us flexing how incredibly macho we are.

Sad and scary that the U.S. is now the global playground bully.

Don’t mistake Putin’s response to trump not winning the Nobel Peace Prize as sucking up or kissing ass. Putin, former KGB intelligence officer, is a master manipulator. He knows how to make trump jump thru hoops.

James Madison at the Constitutional Convention, 1787.

“A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty,” he argued. “The means of defense against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home.”

Trump: "Vladimir Putin said something- one of the most interesting things. He said 'your election was rigged because you have mail in voting. It's impossible to have mail in voting & have honest elections.' He said that to me because we talked about 2020. He said, 'you won that election by so much'"

I went back into my Time Machine and resurrected this from the SNL knockoff, Fridays. I wanted to share this with 2 of my fav historians because despite its flaws and Reagan era references, it speaks to today and ends on a defiant note.

The impeachment clause in the constitution specifies high crimes and misdemeanors. What people miss is the framers specified misdemeanors, not in the legal sense, but as misdeeds. A president using his office to enrich himself and his family at the expense of the nation is a high misdeed.

From CNN: President Donald Trump said he’ll know in two weeks if President Vladimir Putin is “tapping us along,” and warned of a shift if Russia is not serious about it.

The infamous 2 weeks, and he doesn’t know it now?? How many more Ukraian civilians will die in 2 weeks?
