First, this one is an outlier among other oversamples. Second, it has some interesting assumptions that even Nate Cohn had to acknowledge and hedge on.

NGL, @jasonkirk.fyi, I struggled a bit with the opening. Kinda like a fever dream. But I grew to care about those crazy kids, and was stunned by their world. Existence there must be exhausting. Had to see what happened. I was not disappointed.

Was referring to this map (from Wikipedia), which is showing 2018 results. Long strips emanating from Austin/San Antonio. It was more the visual than the actual results (at least in 2018).
