I don't know if the govt is being wilfully obstinate or just oblivious to reality. I can see a day when the US and the UK both pull out of the #AUKUS deal, and it will become just "A", and will involve Australia giving $300 billion to a kid on a California beach in exchange for a bath toy #auspol

If Australia insists in burying its head in the sand, that means it's got its arse in the air - which means sooner or later someone will happen by and be tempted to give it a good solid kick.
