This is really helpful. I’m toying with the idea but had the same Q so this is good to hear

I got Angell, Straq and Maupay that most others got, but forgot about Mark Hughes, which should have been obvious!

One name not mentioned so far: Ellis Simms

I do really like Thomas Frank and you feel he might be starting to think about a new challenge as there's only so much further he can take Brentford. Sergio Conceição is also an interesting choice and there's a ton of talented managers in the Bundesliga we could consider

He's probably better suited coming in during a summer window with time to get his system & players in place, rather than a "relegation battle" now with maybe 2 signings in Jan & coaching a system on the fly. Think we'll end up with someone more experienced, but definitely someone to keep an eye on

I like him a lot. Been treated quite harshly by the press, but stood up well to it and got mostly good results. Whether he's right for us right now, I don't know. Things are still quite up in the air for the club and you feel that TFG will make a decision on Dyche quite quickly when they're in place

Keep, I think. Given the manager is way more likely to get binned early doors than we may have thought a month or two back, keeping Thelwell for continuity is important. Plus, if TFG want to build a model that focuses on youth, that is playing into KT's strengths and experience

Did Lukaku get one in 2014 too? Or does that not count as it fell in between loan and perm signing?

Btw - just wanted to say that your posts on the other place during the whole takeover saga have been a dose of clear-eyed sanity during a difficult time (and quite reassuring!)

More really good and important work guys - keep it up!

Lineker, Sheedy and Cahill are three of them. Was Stuart McCall still with us when he scored for Scotland at Italia 90? He who must not be named must have scored for Iceland in 2018?
