2025's theme was "identity crisis." I often felt disconnected from myself and considered myself a failure more times than I can count.

I also wrote nearly 20 personal essays, over 25K words on a novel, & I've created and published my own zine.

I guess all this is to say: Cut yourself some slack.

As I’m working on the THIRD (!!!) issue of my zine “Neuroses, Nostalgia, and New York,” I’m reminded of my true desire: not just to share my own words and art, but to give space to others as well.

Some mid-week motivation: A little delulu can go a long way.

If you’re not creating because you think no one will care, stop that right now. YOU care. And it’s cool to care.

Care with all your heart. And then don’t give a fuck about what anyone else thinks. Keep going.
