Does anyone know if the C64GS, had exactly the same motherboard as the C64 with an adaptor to make the cartridge port toploading, or was it a full redesign? Thanks 🫶

Episode 18, Season 6 of Startrek:TNG, "Starship Mine" is basically Die Hard in space... and it's totally my bag baby.

Earlier this year, we released "Gridlock" for the Commodore 64. A sliding car puzzle game I made together with @scubachris72.bsky.social and soundtrack by the one and only @lukhash.bsky.social .... If you haven't tried it yet, it is available on Itch (megastyle.itch.io/gridlock).

The volumetric video in the #quest3 game "7th Guest" is absolutely mind blowing and fully 6dof...and I want to shoot some.

Anyone know how?

I've done it with static images (11 years ago) but that was a slow process, gotta be a better/faster way nowadays.

A while ago, I released "We Are Stardust". Physical editions included a #C64 game by Megastyle (awesome retro devs) with 8-bit versions of the album’s songs as the soundtrack. Here’s the game loading from glow-in-the-dark vinyl 👾 Audio noise = data, loaded in real-time. So proud we pulled this off!

Binging through episode after episode of Star Trek TNG. Perfect procrastination television.
