My dad's #footballshirt #kitcommunity #kitcollector luck continues thanks to surpriseshirts.co.uk with the Cagliari 24/25 home shirt. Considering we couldn't get one when in Cagliari last year

I've got Racing Club de Monteviedo 2022 away which is also their 2024 3rd shirt. Interesting 🤣

Oh, definitely. This is one of the first lighthouses I ever visited/ went inside of anyway. Almes Lighthouse in Norway.

Yhe forces Lighthouses endured over the centuries , the isolation and conditions that those that kept them lit endured as well.

Certain images endure in people's minds.

One for #kitcollectors #footballshirtcolllectors especially those that byy and sell.

HMRC just clarified and updated their rules. Especially if you sell on Ebay or Vinted.

Indeed, there are some interesting names there, especially when it comes to some of the ships, etc, we were looking at and the time period we were looking at in the Mediterranean.

On a loosly related, my parents were in Malta fairly recently and while they were looking around for places my grandfather went to (his ship was based there in the 50's i think) they came across a bar/pub which had what appears to be royal navy cap tallys and others inlaid in the seating and walls.

You might have already seen this photo or know of it Matthew but saw this one labelled "The troop transports Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth viewed from HMAS Sydney’s stern" earlier.

This section caught my eye.

I'm still inclined to think it's November 1940 dates I mentioned before in the med. Especially as she was 3rd cruiser squadron while out there.

But these March 1940 dates just stood out as well.

I just don't see a situation where Fiji matches.

Looking at the war service for both ships ( taking with a pinch of salt though) it doesn't match up to what Chat GPT says as such.

Berwick was in Gib by the 29th, York in Alexandria by the 30th.

She arrived in Alexandria on the 12th May. In crete 15th other side of the island though.

But then there is this other image supposedly from May 1941 of York and Pericles ( know it can't be May though)

BTW these are the following two images that piqued my interest about operation MAQ3 being a possibility, but looking at other photos provided in that article I'm more doubtful about it.

As for your original image. There seems to be enough of the turrets shown to potentially narrow down the class.

Waking up to a wonderful snowy landscape but also a puppy that wants to eat it all 😍😂 at least he enjoys the snow.

For @cxd1992.bsky.social as well but basically you click the 3 little dots either before or after you post and you have all these options

So this is blue-sky. It will probably take me a while to get used to this new app and transfer over fully but in the meantime enjoy the cuteness and mischievousness that is my puppy.
