Don’t try and cloak the reality that terminally ill people desperately want to live but are clinically, objectively and terminally, going to die by a disease which is killing them.
Suicidal people who objectively are not terminally ill are different and would not be eligible under this bill.

I felt the absence of terminally ill people in the room when suicide prevention came up. I am so clear from the many dying people and experts I've spoken to that overwhelmingly dying people want to live - but they know they are going to die. They are not suicidal.
