After upgrading to macOS Tahoe and iOS 26 I can say that while I'm not terribly impressed by the "liquid glass" look, I don't mind the general UX changes they've made with it on iOS. On macOS, besides increased border-radius of some applications, it feels fine.

Went hiking at Paradise on Mt. Rainier last week. Very gutsy Marmots and Chipmunks up there.
