This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

Reminder: the First Amendment protects everyone who resides in our country. It doesn't matter if you have a green card or a visa or if you're undocumented. The Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that any person residing in the United States, regardless of status, is entitled to 1A protections.

Personally, I have been opposed to the war in Ukraine from the beginning, and wanted a quick negotiated end to it and a ceasefire, but it is perfectly possible to hold those views without being openly pro Russia, and anti Ukraine, or parroting Putin talking points. Sheesh.
