I still laugh that in "The Rise of Skywalker" JJ Abrams cast Russell -- one of the most compellingly intense actors going and one of the most beautiful people in the world -- and (a) gave her almost no substantive dialogue; and (b) put her under a dumb helmet for like 85% of her screen time.
My profile of the delightful Keri Russell, the darkly funny, surprisingly introverted former New Mickey Mouse Club member who—even after Felicity, The Americans and The Diplomat!—has never fully embraced the idea of herself as an actress: www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...
Keri Russell’s Emotional Transparency Has Anchored Three Decades of TV
But, offscreen, she’s not even sure that she wants to be an actress.

The people who decided season-ending ties should be decided based on a hierarchy of tiebreakers rather than in an actual ballgame do not like baseball.

Some of my best baseball memories involve Game 163, watching two teams who 6 months haven’t separated play just 9 more innings for everything.

I’m bald. I don’t know how anything works. People don’t like my comedy. Fine, I’ll do it. I’ll be the Joe Rogan of the left.

People took me literally, even though I ended a reply with "I am not a crackpot." Can't win.

The Sox get a conditional option of $15M for 2032 if Crochet misses 120 consecutive days due to a significant arm injury. In the case of such an event, assuming it happened between 2026-30, his opt-out after 2030 would be voided.
If he avoids such an injury, then he gets the opt-out following 2030.

It's a mess out there, but I'm proud of our organization.

The #SP60 kicks off with Austin Ehrlicher. Due to injuries, the 22-year-old RHP has only pitched six innings since the Red Sox drafted him in the 18th round of the 2022 draft. He has a very intriguing fastball-slider combination, which could help propel him quickly through the system.

FYI, that one site that was created so that people could rate the hotness of their classmates had me automatically follow the new guy, so I'm not there anymore.
