We just finished hearing that project. Was going to message you since you mentioned both.

Yes, the roundabout passed unanimously but reversal of one-way on Ashby failed. Three members voted to reverse; four opposed.

Just wanted to let you know that the recommendation for the figure-eight roundabout at Glebe & Mt. Vernon was approved unanimously by the Board.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts!

Thanks for sharing. My initial reaction was the same: it's a good solution for a bad intersection.

Appreciate the flag on the directional change.

That was my thinking too when it was proposed. It looks odd but also like a good solution.
I'm looking forward to the discussion with staff about the design shift. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

Thanks for sharing. I liked the figure- eight roundabout design (AKA peanut-about) when proposed. Curious to see why the design shifted.

That was the original proposal but staff pulled the docket item to conduct more community engagement.

There was some concern that folks wouldn't understand how to use it.

Do you think a roundabout is a better solution? It's coming before my board on Monday evening so changes can still be made.
