A notable amount, see below. I only turn on the heat maybe 3 days a year, the building retains heat very well. Has to be under 30f (high) multiple days in a row for apartment to get under 68f.

One item missing from the article is that removing fares allows the agency to buy better buses. More doors, wider doors, doors that open faster, and better internal circulation. Current fleet is designed to around fares being collected at the front.
