Here’s the point I make. The St. Nicholas to Santa Claus progression would be as if in the year 3700, trillions of humans living on Mars started telling their kids that Mitt Romney traveled from his secret workshop on Venus to bring them gifts on Mother’s Day. And he’s morbidly obese.

He was a bishop, and wealthy. A true believer probably. He may have been at the council of nicea. Christmas for him was kind of a minor religious celebration, like it was at that time in the church. Easter for him was the big holiday.

Replace every utility razor or box cutter with a pair of emt/trauma shears. They’re super affordable, dishwasher safe, and much less likely to accidentally hurt you.
