When I say they have addressed it, I mean they have acknowledged and provided the plans and timescale for when the performance update is due.

They have addressed the performance issues and are circulating a big update soon, I think they said December, which is aimed at performance.
It's no excuse - the PC version should not be this bad, but they have certainly addressed it with an update on the way.

Yeah, I sincerely hope the performance update delivers as promised, but even still, like 9 or so months after release really is poor.

That's fair enough. I haven't had too many issues to be honest, but it is concerning how they've always had under recommended requirements to enable frame gen for 1080p 60fps.
Like, that's such a red flag and everyone knows frame gen shouldn't be used sub-60

That’s fair enough. I actually quite enjoy it and I’ve had a good time, but yeah I do have some annoyances with it. I definitely think I prefer the more traditional MH entries.

I've not played since the most recent title update, but every time I launch it, it feels like time stands still while I wait for the game to actually go full screen and hope I can actually get in.
Curious as to whether the title update at the end of the year will fix these issues as Capcom claim.

I know PC doesn't represent everything, but the Steam reviews due to the poor optimisation and performance must have had somewhat of an impact
