The real question is if “as intended” is good enough for all riders - specifically, riders who may lose consciousness for whatever reason (blood pressure, seizures, and other health issues)

It it’s “most” men then it just feels too big to even confront. Like when people tell you the casualties of a war or the tsunami and you can’t even comprehend something awful at that scale. If I believe it’s “most” I don’t know if I can take action. I’d just be numb forever.

Fair opinion but as a survivor of rape, for me at least, I feel, while horrifically violating and traumatizing, it’s just nowhere near on par. After all, here I am, living my life despite rape, unlike murder victims.

Multiple studies show conservative ideology, regardless of nation or political party, is linked to reduced empathy and compassion. It’s about protecting what’s yours and us vs them. It’s not particularly Christian.
