Got a letter from Wells Fargo that they were going to cancel a zero balance credit card due to inactivity (for my security). I bought a can of soda at the store and then returned it. So one is out money but WF for the credit processing.

After 20 years, I started a reread of Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. I'm 5 pages in and don't remember it being in the non-fiction section the last time.

I have a love/hate relationship with church letter boards. They sometimes amuse me but then I realize that they think it will work. If I had one it would just say “Jesus Christ!” Everyone could appreciate it. Especially in today’s geopolitical climate.

Thousands of workers asked to submit billeted work reports, band together. Thousands of AI generated work reports will drown them. They need info on you to actually get rid of you. Just food them with too much false data. They don’t have the personnel to check accuracy or even read all of them.

No wonder they don’t like fact checking. It’s talking point via MadLibs.

Oh, maybe they thought that was like some clever play on triggering liberals. I’m not mad anymore. Just feeling sad for them now.

So.
Much.
Dumb.

I was going to put a character in my next book that was a dragon masquerading as a human hoarding wealth from peasants, but given current events, my book would have to be re-classified from contemporary fantasy to a nonfiction treatise on capitalism.
