Got to love Facebook Marketplace. Just bought 2 bookshelves that were originally in an MP's Parliament Hill office. $80/bookcase. An affordable and incredibly effective memento from my time on the Hill. #Ottawa

One of the best #Lego sets I've purchased in a while. Looking at it makes me want to go back to #Paris.

@davidmoscrop.bsky.social I think I found the best Lego set $6.99 (or 2 for $10) can buy! From Toys R' Us, perfect addition to any other set that would benefit from a Batman watching over it.

Without a doubt, one of the most impressive 4K Blu-Rays that I've been able to add to the collection. For a movie released in 1979, it looks spectacular. Arrow Films has been absolutely killing it with the remasters. Their 4K release of Robocop is amazing.

Sounds interesting! I just picked up Anand Giridharadas' The Persuaders. Looking forward to reading after finishing cruising through The Firm.

Changing things up a bit for Christmas and watching The Bridge on the River Kwai for the first time. Incredible how well this movie, released in 1957, looks re-mastered in 4k.

Strangely enough, the one and only John Grisham novel've ever read is not a legal drama/thriller, but instead the football fiction novel, Playing for Pizza. Now I'm reading The Firm before watching the movie adaptation with Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman.

Tonight, I'm watching the 1984 classic, Amadeus. I'm pretty sure everyone around my age watched this in elementary school or high school and probably thought it was goofy, but it's legitimately great. We weren't old enough to appreciate it.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 starring Vince Vaughn is an incredibly brutal and entertaining action movie. I can't believe it didn't get a wider release. Vince Vaughn is an incredible actor.

Picked this up today, doing my part to keep the physical media industry going. Here is a fantastic CBC documentary narrated by David Suzuki, released in 2014, that isn't available *anywhere* to stream. How is that even possible?!? Surely it should be on CBC Gem. #canada #cdnpoli #nature
