Sad that I missed @jonnelledge.bsky.social's event at the Falmouth Book Festival, but I bought a signed copy of A History of the World in 47 Borders and it's the most readable non-fiction thing I've read in years, big recommend.

Bought the trade paperback of Jonathan Hickman 'Secret Wars' on a whim and because I had some Waterstones points, with no real expectations and HOLY BLIMEY. Knew nothing about it going in, I only really knew the Ultimate Marvel stuff, which was probably best because it's absolutely epic.
