I'm at a meeting of the licensing applications sub-committee where hours for the Mosaic's Peri Peri in East Reading are set to be reverted back to 1am Monday to Saturday and midnight on Sundays. They had applied to stay open until 3am, but withdrew the app before a court hearing.

I'm watching Reading Borough Council's Policy Committee meeting tonight. The first main item is a question from councillor Rob White (Green), the leader of the opposition, who asks about the lack of electric vehicle charging points on terraced roads, which is answered by cllr John Ennis (Labour).

This is really frustrating, especially if the police force has a mugshot. Sometimes they don't as the accused is charged by post rather than arrested.
