I write code. You can find a lot of it at https://github.com/jsumners. When I'm not doing that, I'm probably riding my bike or practicing yoga. https://www.strava.com/athletes/5096393
That tab bar is super bad

Everyone who agreed to ship iOS 26’s UI owes us all an apology.

🤮

@vivaldi.com how do I get rid of this tabs dropdown button? I do not like it. The off color is very distracting.

Oh yeah, clearly better. 😒

This is why I use @simplelogin.io.web.brid.gy. Needed to use this the offender to collaborate on a single document. The offender has dumped a bunch of useless trash in my inbox. No more!

How many years will it take for people to stop this? These requirements are completely useless.

Your APM vendors (New Relic and @sentry.io) have a fun chat at @jsconf.bsky.social. Random @cloudflare.social master in the mix too 😀

And could be a mere 300k lines of actual JavaScript (number pulled from the air)

The @insta360official.bsky.social will pop some advertising occasionally (annoying) but in general I can just do what I opened it for: get some clips from my ride. Which is super handy.

Maybe include that kind of info in the future?

The described mechanic immediately makes it a 0/10 for me. I don’t want to cook, build houses, or any other such nonsense in a game. I’m there to get out of reality, not add more chores to my life.

Hopefully this is just out of context, but at a minimum it seems very rude

This one surprised me. I thought the function overhead would always be slower. I have no idea why these results are what they are.

@nodeland.dev any thoughts?

Holy shit no! Every user should have their own salt.

An equation doesn’t ask questions. It predicts words to satisfy your request. And what is the point if it “often” results in something that seems acceptable to you? Might as well flip a coin.

When I see this icon in a @github.com notification, I just click "done" without opening it. It's totally useless. If you found an issue, then open an issue.

I’m kind of at a loss for words. Not only has the mentioned tool(?) caused immeasurable grief across everything I’m involved with, now people think it’s the way to deploy everything? Folks. It’s a process. Your OS was designed specifically to run them.
