Imagine conceiving cheap delivery as something that just naturally and spontaneously happens independently of labor exploitation

It's ok to like a movie that other people don't like.

I may be remembering this wrong, but I think the winner of that ep was the guy who forged a knife in his backyard using a forge made from an old broken pot. Most epic win.

My favorite ep was with the most pretentious prick with the best kitted out shop ever seen on the show fails because his (admittedly well crafted but overly ornate) sword cut into the hand of the holder. Epic fail.

This is a ham-fisted illustrative work that does it rise to the level of art.

Oh sure, a convicted rapist and felon would do great things for the city.

Professor, you murder ideas with more ruthless elegance than this on a daily basis.

How about we just ban Internet sales.

Yes, I know people would lose their minds, but it might save their souls.

With one sentence you have (once again) slapped my brain out of my skull.

No one reads Axios anymore. Literally every time I mention to a friend that I stopped reading Axios, they reply they stopped months earlier.

I came around to an expanded court after the Republicans did it in Arizona without blinking an eye.

My slogan would be, "You wanna go? Let's GO!"

Same here, but I would use the same money to say "these guys are freaks and thieves, and no one is safe while they're in charge. Not your kids, not your folks, not your friends down the street, nobody." If someone asked about any of the rest, I'd just say "NOT SAFE WITH THESE PEOPLE" and move on.

The question I can't answer is:

On seeing that life is suffering, how can anyone not say, "hey what if we tried making things a little less worse?"

I do have an answer but it's long and complicated and probably not right.

It's very spotty and I can't figure out why. Loopholes? Payoffs?

i don’t think you can maximin vote share with polls and spreadsheets, and i think it is a problem that the most prominent and influential political commentators right now are more devotees of data than experts in narrative

I feel silly for pointing out my minor inconvenience when others are losing their lives in ICE facilities.

I guess the point is that we are all peasants now living at the whim of a king.

Ayn Rand was right that dogma would kill America but she was wrong about which direction it would come from.

As an avid cyclist I've seen lots of stories about cyclist / pedestrian accidents (Reddit) but never one where both parties were badly injured. Seemed a bit fishy and I just assumed he was either lying or exaggerating.

Not sure I have the strength to deal with made-up ai nonsense.

I know, odd ball stuff, but as an American I've grown accustomed to having access to everything from everywhere.

But new products aren't getting in.

There's a Chinese 3D printer I'm interested in that is available everywhere in the world except the US. Either tariffs or import license.

And a Canadian solar panel mount that won't be imported because the tarrif is so high.
