Was tempted to use <ctype.h> in my Arduino project, to re-use isstring(), isdigit() etc., but I can't help but notice they take an int and return an int.
Why go through that unnecessary cast? I think I'll just make my own inline helper that tests if *pos >= '0' && *pos <= '9' etc.
