Still draws stuff:
And it's kinda shite to have to announce how bad things are to get people to be vaguely interested.
Went through it with trying to make a bookshop survive.

On the plus side..... I am working on a comicbook story that a cool person has commissioned me to do. It's keeping my focus. Thanks to them :)

3 big projects fell through this year (never been ghosted & left in limbo by people like this).
A badly injured back slowed work pace for the 8 months & put a stop to any casual bookshop shifts.

So yeah, right now it can be infuriating screaming into the void of a social media that used to work.

"Bluesky shouldn't be just about selling stuff" sure but for us creatives, it really can be one of the only ways left to promote our work.

Homelessness is a genuine danger being faced before xmas or shortly after.
The bookshop failure cost a lot.

It's cool to tune into bluesky & see what the dozen or so cool people are up to but in terms of being a freelancer & managing time, Bluesky isn't returning for the effort put in.

Painful to say it but Instagram is working better so I post there...

In the heyday of Twitter, I was making a basic living selling from my shop with only about 3000 followers.
Stuff was steady after eventually hitting over 15k followers & then a billionaire man-baby bought the site & turned it onto Naziville.

Bluesky just doesn't cut the mustard for me :/

Huge thank you to the regular dozen or so amazing followers that repost & help share my work.

I have 10.2k followers on here & this will get almost no attention & probably another day of zero orders 🤔
