I believe in you! The easiest thing to start with are herbs! Not sure where you live but mint, lavender, rosemary are pretty hardy and grow really well. And then you can have them for food, drinks, etc.

Their orchids are always beautiful. I have a green thumb, but I can’t keep an orchid alive lol. I can grow veggies. Fruit. Herbs. Orchids? Nope

Now that I’m awake I see that those are clearly hydrangeas and not peonies 🤣🤣🤣🤣. The arrangement is dope, you did good! I need to go see what Trader Joe’s has in stock today for myself.

I think they get pushed that way. This country prides individualism and nuclear families over community. They make it harder to take care of the whole and incentivize caring for your immediate family. "Everything is other people's fault and we can make everything better if you let us punish them"
