Yesterday, the CBL indirectly criticized the NOC for its low $$$ deposits in 2024.

In its response, the NOC ended up revealing for the first time that the amount of #barter reached $10.2bn in 2024.

This figure is a tragedy; definitely worse than the $9bn that I indicated here a few weeks ago.

As early as Aug. 24, I was warning about the possibility of an Enhanced Due Diligence affecting the CBL.

Governor Issa confirmed that yesterday.

Fed NY has told the CBL that it’ll suspend dollar transactions with the CBL & LFB unless Libya establishes a review mechanism for commercial transactions
