I give the Series Finale of Stranger Things a C+, at best, a B-. This just my preference with story telling. In this particular case, I loath ambiguity. In my mind, Eleven (Jane) is dead. The fantasy that Mike cooked up is solely to give him and his friends comfort.

Goodbye FUBAR. You were fun. Fuck you, Netflix! Again. Your propensity to cancel just about every show I have enjoyed (Stranger Things aside) after 1 or 2 seasons makes me constantly question why I still give you money. Fuck you very much.

In today’s market (even with 25+ years of experience) I am beginning to feel like I am not qualified to be a software developer. Just asked anyone who has not hired me because of my tech interview.

Good Lord!! There is a copious amount of Bullshit to memorize for the AZ-204. And it's all going to change in 6 months. Sigh.

This year's Kansas Basketball team is unwatchable. I'm out.

I found very little to like about Dune: Prophecy. I did care what happened to the characters. They were all (except for a couple of b-stories) unlikable. Seems to be a problem I have with most current drama.

A $10 hike 4 YouTube TV. Likely stay on board through coll, bb season. Then, it looks like we are moving to Philo. We don't really watch local broadcast tv, anyway. And, on those occasions when we do, we have an antenna hooked up to a HomeRun box. It pulls 124 channels (lots of dupes). #youtubetv

I am always slow to the party. Always. With that in mind, I am finally starting to watch "For All Mankind". I am through the first 5 episodes, and I'm absolutely loving it. YMMV.

2024, the gift that keeps on giving. Sigh.

Personal opinion, nothing more. Umbrella Academy spoilers:

In the end, the Umbrella Academy (Netflix) made itself and my involvement in it irrelevant. So, it's all about Reginald's hubris. Sigh, I loved the series until it end. Now, I loath the choice of ending. No win. Just an "oops".

And now is the time to make turkey jambalaya with leftovers. Mmmmmmmmm.

I am a fan of PRS electric guitars. I have 4 and am seriously looking at a 5th.

Others have noted it but I will too: The big reason Bluesky is so hot right now is that the people who add value to social media - the frequent posters in specific fields - are here now, talking to each other and creating the "spectator value" that draws users and attention.
