After 7 weeks my cast is finally off. Fracture 80% healed... Now, several more weeks of rehab and then I'm hopefully back on the mat.

Apparently this one might be what's called Jones fracture, from the discovery of it by orthopedic surgeon and dancer Robert Jones.

I did not get it while dancing.

I love Munch! Especially his wood cut prints... but sometimes, the actual wood cut is as interesting as the print. The layers of colors, paint, and ink tell a story of exploration, trial-and-error. This one is the only "perverse print" according to Munch himself.

Tried to make truffles for the first time. Super simple recipe. Melt dark chocolate with dash of milk, add yolk, add fresh mint if you like. Cool. Add to cocoa powder. Shape.

So this 46 year old fart apparently leveled up. All love and praise to the team of instructors and members of Lund Grappling Academy who make the rolls always challenging and fun.
