Got new pc. Put SSD in from old dead pc. Windows goes "nah mate, it's locked with bitlocker". I purposefully didn't set up the old pc with a windows account, because fuck that. Internet is telling me all the data is basically lost now. Fuck Microsoft & fuck windows.

Got an email this morning. So from today, Twitch is enforcing mandatory ID checks for anyone in the UK for viewing 'adult' content.
So yeah, streamers: if your UK viewer numbers drop, now you know why. Urgh.

Update on this: it's still completely dead. Have tried everything I can and have done days of troubleshooting. Manufacturer has agreed to replace it under warranty, but I need to post it to them, and a lot of people are saying it takes them ages to send the new one 😮💨

For me, when I'm at work it's training people (like a group of people on a video call and demonstrating how something works while presenting). Outside of work, it's video editing.
