Court has criminal contempt powers. He can throw people in jail, including treasury and OMB director.

Given the amount of personal data exposed/stolen and the unconstitutional manner in which it was taken, are there grounds for a class action suit? Damage against individual citizens, financial institutions? Thank you.

Judge Engelmayer accepted the AG's argument below, pending full briefing, that letting politically appted SGEs access this material, formerly managed by "a limited number of career civil servants" poses "huge cybersecurity risks" & danger that their residents' sensitive PII will be "compromised."
