Getting a job in games media seemed almost unattainable when I broke in back in 2005. In the years since, it’s become almost impossible and ultimately inadvisable. I can’t imagine trying to break in today.

I think Astro Bot wins this. Erd Tree is DLC to a game that already won GOTY. People seem to have soured on FF7 and Metaphor probably not played by enough voters. I’ve only played Balatro so I’m just basing this on vibes.

Can’t decide whether to focus on SF6 or Tekken 8. Need to see the new SF balance patch and who the final season 1 Tekken character is. Really think it’s going to be MGS3 Snake.
