Clean economic development, manufacturing, climate, running, PNW hoops. I believe in America.
[talking to the aid workers I fired from their jobs providing food and medical assistance to those in need in the U.S. and around the world]

You fools, you absolute simpletons

There’s “actually only one way” to widely address poverty or give people healthcare: a robot I haven’t made yet

I think the administration might be overreaching a bit on the “teachers bad” front

Trump administration officials & AI executives: All talking about how many hours they work like the most annoying 23-year-old grindset bro you know

Some people have been tiptoeing around it, but it's important for those who know to speak plainly. It's not partisan.

The Secretary of Energy is lying to you, knowingly, brazenly, and constantly. He is lying *daily* in service of his boss and his pocketbook. The worst Sec of Energy in my lifetime.

If you care about US industrial strength

If you care about good, middle-class jobs

If you believe government should actually deliver for American communities (and not lie to them)

The last six months should make you very, very angry

Reminder to all the energy folks bending over backwards to praise the Trump admin’s “AI dominance” plan, mere days after they torched US energy incentives, cancelled a transmission line, subjected solar projects to Burgum’s personal approval, and otherwise made it impossible to build new electricity

This is the least important aspect of the GOP poverty budget, but: I am simply amazed that they’ve chosen to call it BBB

you can't lose the next generation of manufacturing jobs to China if you have no next-generation manufacturing jobs

I remember attending the papal visit to the White House in 2015 — the only one for Pope Francis. He pleaded for urgency on climate change: "When it comes to the care of our 'common home,' we are living at a critical moment of history.”

To me, an inextricable part of the hopeful Obama era. RIP.

Published this a few days ago in the Indianapolis Business Journal and it's even truer today. This Administration does not actually care about manufacturing towns and the painstaking work they've done over the past few years.
